Mrs. Swapna Chakraborty is a Master in Arts (Music) from Rabindra Bharati University. She has also passed Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Sammelan. She had been trained by Late Krishna Chattopadhaya and Sri Nishit Sadhu for songs of Atul Prasad, Rajanikanta and Dwijendralal Roy (Dwijendra Geeti). She had also taken special training from Late Biman Mukherjee for songs of Kazi Nazrul Islam (Nazrul Geeti).

Mrs. Chakraborty regularly performs on invitation at renowned places like Rabindra Bharati University, Haldia Utsav, Eastern Zonal Cultural Center, Vidyasagar Mela, Addyapith Devotional Utsav and Jadavpur Utsav.

She has also authored many short stories and poems. She works for All India Science Teachers' Association and helps the school children through reasonable scientific education since 1989.

She has started giving online music lessons on Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Atul Prasad, Dwijendra Geeti and Rajanikanta. Those interested are requested to fill up the form in the Contact page and send across :
